Antony was appointed Human Resources Director Vodafone and Chair of the Vodafone Foundation in October 2012.

Antony initially joined the global Vodafone community in 2002 working for Vodafone UK and has worked for a number of Vodafone entities including Japan, India, UK, Vodafone Group and New Zealand. Before joining Vodafone UK, Antony worked for Cap Gemini Ernst and Young UK Ltd, where he specialised in change management across a variety of industries and prior to that in Human Resources for Aviva Plc. Antony has a Bachelor of Science with honours in psychology and a Master of Science in occupational psychology and started his career working as an occupational psychologist.

Now as Human Resources Director for Vodafone New Zealand, Antony’s focus is on developing a leadership team and culture that is customer obsessed.

Caroline is currently the General Manager of People, Culture and Safety for Christchurch International Airport. Caroline’s is responsible for People Strategy, the Operational Human Resources team, People Health, Safety and Wellbeing in addition to Aviation Safety and Security for the Airport.

Prior to this Caroline was the General Manager of the Change Management Office for the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA), a role Caroline took on in mid-2015 to deliver the Transition Recovery Plan, acknowledged as one of the most complex change programmes ever delivered in central government, which disestablished the Authority, transferred remaining recovery functions to inheriting organisations and created two new entities responsible for delivering remaining recovery and regeneration activity. This position followed on from her role of General Manager, People, Capability and Performance for CERA that she held since CERA’s inception in 2011.

Caroline has held senior HR positions across a range of public and private sector industries and prior to taking responsibility for establishing the people, capability, performance and safety strategy, systems and processes for CERA was the General Manager, Human Resources for Vbase, the organisation responsible for the premiere event venues in Christchurch, AMI stadium, Christchurch Convention Centre, Christchurch Town Hall and Horncastle Arena.

An award-winning Marketer turned Human Capital Professional, Chong Kong brings with him extensive working experience in Human Resource (HR) Management covering core functions such as Organization Development, Change & Transition Management, People Experience, Talent Attraction & Employer Branding, Talent & Performance Management, HR Business Partnering, Employee Communications, Employee & Industrial Relations and Learning & Development.

In the earlier years of Chong Kong’s career, he had also gained marketing, branding & communications management experience in advertising, sales & marketing areas covering the IT and FMCG industry.

Chong Kong assumes both human capital and marketing roles in MNC environment such as PricewaterhouseCoopers, Hewlett-Packard, Intel Technology, Philip Morris, Dell Computer, 3M, and Ogilvy & Mather with regional responsibilities covering Singapore market and the Asia Pacific region.

Chong Kong graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.

He has worked extensively in social sector fields in both rural and city locations. His work experience includes child and social welfare sectors, income support, offender rehabilitation, youth, children with special needs, health and disabilities, and social development. He brings extensive management experience and also draws on his community and private consultancy experience. Gordon is currently General Manager of a consumer organisation and NGO, Mind and Body Consultants. Almost all staff employed there have some personal lived experience of mental health and/or addictions issues which they draw on to help others seeking to live flourishing lives

Jane is Professor of Employment Relations and Human Resource Management in the School of Management. Her research focuses on comparative employment relations, equality and diversity developments at work, employee consultation, (strategic) HRM, labour market analysis and trade union strategy. Jane was Senior Research Fellow at the Industrial Relations Research Unit (IRRU) in the University of Warwick's Business School before joining AUT as Senior Lecturer Above the Bar in 2008. She has many publications including international journal articles, books, book chapters, commissioned reports and conference proceedings. She received the highest grade in the 2012 TEC PBRF research round and is HRINZ's 2017 NZ HR Researcher of the Year.

Before leaving Warwick, Jane served for several years as the UK National Coordinator and Contributing Editor to the European Working Conditions Observatory (EWCO), and as a contributor to the European Industrial Relations Observatory (EIRO). She is co-editor in chief of the Labour and Industry journal and co-director of the Massey University People, Organisation, Work and Employment Research (MPOWER) Group.

Dr Jarrod Haar (PhD) is of Ngati Maniapoto and Ngati Mahuta descent, and completed his PhD in 2003 with support for the Tumate Mahuta Doctoral Scholarship from Tainui. Jarrod is a Professor of HRM in the Department of Management at the Auckland University of Technology and is the Deputy Director of the New Zealand Work Research Institute. Professor Haar has a broad research focus, exploring work-family issues including work-life balance; indigenous (Maori) cultural factors and their influence on employee and organisational outcomes; the relationships between leaders and followers; team composition and wellbeing, and entrepreneurs. Professor Haar is ranked as a world class researcher (Ranked ‘A’ in PBRF); is an award winning writer (7 best paper awards), and has over $36 million in grant funding (including as a PI on a Marsden grant and a named researcher on a National Science Challenge). He is a keen quantitative researcher and has over 290 refereed academic outputs (including 69 refereed journal articles) and numerous editorial board roles. He is a Chartered Fellow of the Human Resource Institute of New Zealand; a Research Mentor of the Australia & New Zealand Academy of Management; and was the 2016 Winner of the HRINZ HR Researcher of the Year. His research has appeared in journals including Personnel Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Human Resource Management Journal, and The International Journal of Human Resource Management.

Mo Joined Hesketh Henry in 2016 after working at a highly regarded boutique employment law firm in Wellington.  He also previously worked for an Auckland based organisation acting exclusively for employers.

Mo graduated with conjoint degrees in law and accounting in 2013 from the University of Waikato and was admitted to the Bar in June 2013. He is a past president of the Waikato University Law Students’ Association, and past Council Member of the New Zealand Law Students’ Association.

Mo regularly advises employers and employees on performance management, disciplinary procedures, redundancy and restructuring processes, restraint of trade and non-solicitation issues, personal grievances, holidays, leave and pay issues.  Mo also provides advice on, and assists clients with statutory compliance, drafting and interpreting employment agreements and policies.

Vicki joined Southern Cross in 2013 and is Head of People, Strategy & Performance – taking on the people, internal communications, wellbeing, strategy and business transformation responsibilities.

Before joining Southern Cross Vicki was Head of People & Culture for professional services firm Grant Thornton.  Prior to this Vicki was self-employed for 7 years as an HR Consultant working across the Not for Profit, health, banking & finance and FMCG sectors.  Vicki was the New Zealand Human Resources Manager for AMP Banking, followed by several years at the Auckland District Health Board, managing HR for Women’s and Children’s Health.

Outside of Southern Cross Vicki is Board Chair of a 1,000 student primary school. She completed a two year Executive MBA (Dist) with Massey University in 2013 and held a governance role as a Commissioner on the Board of the New Zealand Fire Service for five years until March 2016.
